Avengers: Endgame has a runtime of 3 hours and 2 minutes, according to a posting on the AMC Theatres website — making it the longest ever for a Marvel movie.
Marvel Studios tends to run a little long — such is the nature of crafting epics — with most films hitting around the 2-hour and 15-minute mark.
With a panoply of heroes to contend with, the Avengers films tended to be the record-setters. The 2012 original clocked in at 2 hours 23 minutes, and Age of Ultron came in at 2 hours 21 minutes.
Captain America: Civil War (which has a similar vast cast of characters) is the current longest at 2 hours and 27 minutes.
Disney and Marvel have not confirmed the running time of Endgame, and the 3-hour-plus time has since been deleted from the AMC website.
Tickets are likely to go on sale about a month before the April 26 debut, so we may get the specifics soon.
