What is this feeling? It’s excitement, that’s what! Because a special edition of the Wicked soundtrack is coming your way.
To celebrate the 15th anniversary of the acclaimed musical, Verve/UMe announced Friday that they’re releasing a new version of the Grammy Award-winning original cast album, titled Wicked: The 15th Anniversary Special Edition on Feb. 8.
In addition to 19 tracks sung by the original cast, the special two-disc CD set will also include four bonus tracks recorded live during the NBC special A Very Wicked Halloween: Celebrating 15 Years On Broadway from last October. That means fans have the opportunity to hear Ariana Grande sing “The Wizard and I” all over again, as well as Pentatonix’s rendition of “What Is This Feeling?”, Adam Lambert and Ledisi’s “As Long As You’re Mine,” and “For Good” by Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel, who were also joined by a chorus of actresses who also portrayed Elphaba and Glinda.
